A little discipline

One of the hardest things about doing what you love and working from home, is making sure that you do actually work and make a success of what you love doing. There's no bones about it, what you need is plenty of self-discipline - which is easier said that acquired.

Over at his blog Vicious Imagery, writer (and one-time editor of 2000AD) David Bishop makes the case very well. As David says, 'A writer writes. Onwards.'

it gets tricky staying focused doesn't it. Self-discipline can only last so long, after all!

You write so much too - how do you not get fatigue setting in?!

Compared to a day with my children, a day writing is a doddle.

And I'm going on holiday for 10 days tomorrow, so that should help with the fatigue problem. :-)

How did the wedding and honeymoon go?

Ah yes! I never think about the children factor...

The wedding was brilliant, thanks. A bit of family drama coincided with the throwing of confetti, but all in all it was a really lovely day. And the honeymoon consisted of a few nights in a campsite by the sea, a few nights in a swanky hotel, and a night in my woods. So it was a really fun week out in the camper van!

You have a great holiday!
